How do we do this?

By holding annual seedling and bare root sales to local residents to plant on their own properties.

By assisting town staff in planting and maintaining seedlings in various Perth parks and the Perth Wildlife Reserve. Most of the seedlings OPT has received for free from the Eastern Chapter of the Society of Ontario Nut Growers (E.C. S.O.N.G) with about 30 seedlings, so far, going to the Perth Wildlife Reserve and another 29 seedlings planted around various Perth parks.

The photo shows two OPT members flanking two town staff beside one of 55 seedlings the town had purchased from a tree nursery after having received a grant from an oil and gas company.
