Host a National Tree Day Event

In Canada, trees have two national days. Canadian Urban Forest Conference

The Canadian Urban Forest Conference (CUFC)  will be held in Winnipeg from October 15--18. Professionals, students, municipalities, and community groups will discuss and learn how to plan and manage urban forests  to ensure their benefits are accessible for all. Mini Forest Training

TD Tree Days

On October 20, the Raisin River Conservation Authority www.rrca.on.ca  will be replacing trees lost due to disease or weather damage at the Gray's Creek Conservation Area. According to a report from the World Resources Institute, trees are now able to take root in otherwise 'inhospitable' regions such as deserts and urban areas.
